What is it?
Far Harbo(u)r is the third downloadable content pack available for Bethesda’s latest incarnation of the Fallout series. It’s set on an island just off the coast of Maine, where a strange radioactive mist has descended upon the island, forcing most of it’s residents to move all the way to a small settlement called Far Harbor. You’re sent there to track down the daughter of an old friend of synth detective Nick Valentine, who ran away after growing tired of her humdrum life and her father’s attempts to keep her ‘safe’.

Massive map to explore.
Great new weapons.
Actually feels like a challenge.

Decent quests.
Although there are plenty of locations, some feel a little empty.
Verdict:
Far Harbor is a quality bit of DLC. I enjoyed it, and the side quests in it, probably more than the main game. It felt like I had much more control and it was just much better written than the game it’s just a small part of. There’s plenty to explore and lots of cool people to meet, so it’s well worth playing through.
